BioI am passionate about all things past, embedded in the countless stories that link us to those who came before us. And I feel more at home in France and England (what a conundrum!), and in Greece, than I do in most parts of the United States. This makes me think that the Fates have a strange sense of humor, as I tussle with a sense of "home-sickness" for countries that technically are not my home. However, I can usually find beautiful art wherever I am, and that makes me happy and calm and contented. And I sustain my soul's health by disappearing on a regular basis into the Victorian era, the medieval era (particularly the twelfth century), the ancient world and its so-called myths, the fairy lore of Europe, Britain and Ireland, and other subjects from that endless thing we call the "past", where landscapes of memory lead me down fantastic and strange pathways as I dream the colorful stories of our ancestors.
